Emoji's Again
« on: December 08, 2017, 10:59:32 AM »
Back again with another problem.

When adding emoji's to the string because C# uses the "surrogate pairs", the cursor does not get placed at the right point because it thinks even basic emoji's are 1 character when they are in fact 2 characters.

Is there anything we can do to fix this, or do we just need to wait?

I'll try taking a look over the weekend or early next week.

Adding proper support / handling of surrogate pairs will be more complex than I had originally anticipated. Nonetheless, it is something that I have to do.

I'll post back as soon as I have an update.

I wanted to check in and see if there is any progress on this issue?
