problem with Sprites?
« on: May 18, 2018, 03:03:50 PM »
I'm using Unity 2018.1 0f1 (release candidate 1), and I'm seeing a lot of errors that say:
"[Physics.PhysX] cleaning the mesh failed"

I've narrowed down the problem to TextMeshPro Sprites.  So if I have an object that uses a sprite, and disable it, and then re-enable it, I get this message each time.

Has anyone else seen this?  I don't actually remember which version of TMP I'm using, but it's probably from around 4-5 months ago.

Interesting:  if the text that uses the sprite is "<sprite=9>", then I see this error, but if it's "<sprite=9> ." then I don't see this error.  So it seems like if I have a TMP field that only uses a sprite, then the error happens, but adding some text helps resolve it.  ???
